Then aged 15 gave up baseball, and took up cricket a year later he played his first competitive match. He toured england three times 1897,1903 and 1908, in his final tour. He topped the english bowling stats for that english season taking taking 87 wickets at 11.01. He is the father of swing bowling,(and not a musical note in site) he used to bowl what he called his angler. It was a delivery that fooled batsmen he is now an honarary member of lords the home of cricket. Can you play cricket only you can decide that don't let the boring people tell you that you should stick to something, if you want to try cricket try it and if it is not for you then so be it but at least give it a go. then maybe one day you could be playindg at the home of cricket here in england. You never know till you try and yes you should totally get your school friends helping you to form a cricket team.
