maybe because you are putting to much oil on the bat you only need to coat it very lightly once a year. and dont use tissues use old rags as tissue detirates when it gets wet and rubed angains a surface. remember only once every year and a very light coat

nah depends dude you keep knocking in until you are satisfied then as it says go in the nets and see i any seem marks are showing. if they are continue the process of knocking in. but big notice you only need to knock in english willow bats. if your wondering what the difference is. well kashmire is cheap and either bleached which the bat will be straight white. or it will ahve fiber glass on it. or it either says english or kasmire willow on the bat. happy knocking in

HI everyone i got a bat and my mate oiled that bat too much and i dont feel the storke on the bat when u hit it it does not feel right like normal bats any sugestions.
