I’ve oiled it but do i need to knock the bat in some more or can i just use it?

A lot of people get confused when it comes to pre knocked in bats, when a bat is pre knocked in this does not mean that someone from slazenger has sat with a mallet knocking the bat in, it simply means it has been put under another pressing machine which puts a lot of pressure on the face of the blade. Because of this you should make sure you knock it in at least a couple of hours more than play against an old ball, if you get deep seam marks go back and keep knocking in, if the seam marks aren’t deep then its ready to go out there and score you some runs!

I think that they are called strings, but I am not sure. I just bought a new bat. Slazenger Hyperbalde (SH) and it has a line, gap, then another line, please tell me what it means and the effect on my bats.

I’ts the strings, the more you have the better. They will help to give ur bat a bit more power and less vibrations when you hit the ball! that’s all they do basically! hope it helped! =)
