What’s the best way to wash cricket gloves?

Batting or wicket keeping?

For batting, hand wash in a washing up bowl of hand-hot, not too, soapy water and hang up to drip dry.

Adding a bit of detergent to the water stops any.. erm.. odours.

My cricket batting pads and cricket gloves are very dirty and have dried sweat all over and I need a good way to clean them without ruining them. Please can anyone help!!

Leather conditioner.. here there is something called bear grease that works really well on leather gloves.. Don’t know if they have it in Europe… In a pinch you can use plain unscented hand lotion.

Where can I buy cricket bats in Toronto??

Posted by: | Comments (3)

Where can I buy cricket bats in Toronto that are good looking and are good to use in high school cricket…I can spend unlimited money for that,,,I am also looking for shops that sell special cricket bat’s oil and is currently selling proffesional productts of companies like MRF, Puma, Reebok….

Please any help will be appriciated.. Please note I know that I can buy it off the internet but I want to look at the bat and buy; not look at its photo and buy.

I suggest you to survey on Gerrard Street East, India Bazaar in Toronto.

I saw the South African and England one dy players practice like this. The batsman stands opposite a net, and the feeder throws balls underarm between ankle and shin height to simulate a half volley or full toss. The batsman hits the ball back into the net.

I don’t watch either game, but I was always puzzled why baseball guys wear a glove and Cricket guys don’t. They still have to catch the ball. Would the Baseball guys be better off without the glove.

well they don’t wear glove except for the wicketkeeper because it is usually hit across the ground and they know the proper way to catch while batting they have to wear Helmet Chest guards Boxes Thigh Pads Leg Pads so the ball is quite hard ( I know this cause play cricket and have been hit numerous times) they actually use baseball gloves in practice and it would be better if they didn’t where gloves
